Rational Rec presents Rational Review of 2007

If you didn't make it to Rational Rec in 2007, turn over a new leaf with the Rational Review, the annual Rational Rec event that looks at the best in art of the previous year.

Rational Rec is a monthly inter-art social occasion based at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club, incorporating sound, music, text, performance and film into a damn good night out. Come along and be artistically, intellectually and alcoholically stimulated

This year, the Rational Review discussion teams up with Alli Beddoes, curator of the Autonomous Series at Campbell Works earlier in 2007, to bring you Rational Review of 2007: You Tube.

Alli Beddoes and Cecilia Wee co-chair a panel:

* Giorgio Sadotti - artist, currently showing 'I am you' with Sean Edwards at Limoncello
* Russell Herron - artist/writer, ex-manager of ICA bookshop and London art star
* Lisa Le Feuvre - writer and curator of Contemporary Art at the National Maritime Museum, London

chose their favourite, most compelling You Tube clips of 2007 and we invite you to do the same.

Felicity Mukherjee, independent PR consultant, creates a unique audience evaluation exercise 'Quantifying Rational Recreation'. Felicity has presented on behalf of artist clients in various contexts including [S P A C E] gallery, Artsadmin and Bonkersfest!

To complete the evening, John White, treasured UK experimental composer and performer, plays some new and recent works for piano and lo-fi electronics.
