Pecha Kucha I

'Pecha Kucha' (a Japanese term meaning 'the sound of conversation') is an event that allows people working in various artistic and/or cultural disciplines to present their work. The first event is for students presentations, where people from Belfast and beyond will present various aspects of their practice. The format allows each presenter 6 mins and 40 secs, a slideshow of 20 images, with 20 seconds per image. Time after the presentations with food, drink and music, will allow for discussion and debate, where emphasis will be on developing professional relationships, establishing collaborative links and genuine critique.

This free event is organised by Rachel Brown and Brighdin Farren.

The second Pecha Kucha will be held Sat 2 May 2009.
