Subversive Correspondence No.2

Call out for artists, writers, thinkers and researchers whose works explore the idea of connectivity, correspondence and/or dialogue. Works that perhaps subvert the usual electronic and digital methods of communication or question why dialogue is important. This interpretation could be as simple as a ‘message in a bottle’, dialogue systems or in the likes of James Lee Byers, ornate, decorative and detailed sculptural letters. It could encounter political statements or disperse cultural observations; correspondence that is not immediate but perhaps depends on the contingencies of travel.

Dates: The Gallery at Willesden Green, London, Wed 19 Aug – Wed 2 Sep 2009.
Already showcased at Broadwalk Arts, Bristol, the exhibition invites artists to tour onto London. Gallery owners are welcome to express their interest in hosting this show at their venue.
