The Live Art Almanac - call for recommendations / contributions

The Live Art Almanac is a new initiative from Live Art UK that will draw together recent writing about and around Live Art from reviews to interviews to cultural commentaries.

What articles have you read, what emails did you receive or forward to a friend, what blogs have you visited, what texts crossed your path? Did they engage you, amuse you, or make you rethink Live Art? If it caught your eye and had something interesting to say then we want to know about it.

Live Art UK are seeking recommendations of articles, interviews, blogs, emails and letters on and around Live Art practice and the contemporary cultural landscape in which it sits. We want to hear about engaging, provocative, and thoughtful writing in circulation which sheds light on Live Art and its discourses. Live Art addresses a broad range of audiences and we are seeking contributions that reflect these audiences in the range of writing styles and where the writing is placed.

Your recommendation can be from any source between January 2006 to April 2008 that has been published or distributed, or new writing not yet published or distributed.

The Live Art Almanac is a not-for-profit publication, produced by Live Art UK. It aims to be a good read about and around Live Art for artists, writers, students and others interested in Live Art.

Writing for the Live Art Almanac will be selected by Phillip Stanier, the lead editor and an editorial team made up of members of Live Art UK. The Almanac will reproduce writing in its original published form.

How do I make a recommendation or submit material?
