South West Production Residency 2009

Spike Island has funds from Arts Council South West on an annual basis to offer a production residency to a UK based artist. This is a unique opportunity for an artist to spend three months developing their practice in Spike Islandís supportive environment. The period of the residency is 3 months and takes place spring 2009.

The residency includes a fee of £3,000 and use of a large studio with natural light with 24 hour access. A further sum of £2,500 is available to cover production costs and accommodation will be provided. The chosen artist will work towards a major solo exhibition at Spike Island summer 2009.
